  1. Never a disappointment! You guys are much more relaxed now…..that really translates to the listeners.

I haven’t seen The Descendants yet, but after watching the trailers I thought it looked good….but Shaggy? Ewww.

Question for Fogs….Do you come up with the metaphors ahead of time, in hopes of working them into a review? Or do they just roll off your tongue with no effort. I was impressed! “plays your emotions like a concert pianist” Adding to the interest of the quote was the fact that “Payne” preceded it…wonder how many people heard that as “Pain” Hmmmm…..

Seriously, just busting your chops…you did a good job.

Ahh…The Muppets! I am so behind you both. I can’t even stifle my excitement about this movie. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t singing along with you Fogs as Tank was introducing the segment. I remember Singing Rainbow Connection in 6th grade for the chorus concert. Jim Parsons….what can I say…..no one better for that part. Jason Segal, totally agree with your “standard for the new male moron” but he’s endearing just the same. Amy Adams, love her, and her patience. The songs were great and stayed to the true Muppet style! The only improvement I could think of…. possibly appearances by Carol Burnett, Steve Martin

I had to laugh when you (Tank) said there was something in the movie that you didn’t like…..I could almost picture Fogs rubbing his hands together …..ready to take a swing at you…..”what didn’t you like?” Maniacal laugh, Maniacal laugh…

Loved the Toy Story Short too! (Totally agree…beat Cars 2 by a mile!)

I heard the 20 year reference by Tank to Beauty and The Beast……ouch! I clearly remember that coming out a year ago…..no way am I old enough for it to have been 20 years ago……look, “New from Disney” it says it right here on my VHS tape. 🙂

New Year’s Eve – totally dragging my husband to it for a date night……I am using it as “reverse payback” for the Super Bowl party he is going to make me throw again. So the girlier, the cheesier…the better as far as I am concerned!

Titanic in 3D? That was a great movie…….ONCE. I will leave it at that….spoiler alert: the ship sinks.

Don’t think I bailed after the middle of your show. I did listen to the whole podcast….but when I looked back at my notes, I didn’t have too much to say about the movies you mentioned towards the end. (yes, I have to jot notes, or I would never remember…..I guess I am THAT old) HaHaHa

Although…..War Horse….hahaha funny banter there! WWII or was it WWI? It a war. I agree, big deal, it’s a horse…I think I started singing “A horse is a horse of course….”

Very cute ending………I predicted you would go with Mahna Mahna. (guess I was wrong there)

As always, entertaining as hell. Nice job!

    • Ok, I have a minute now. Thanks for your feedback deb, it’s great. I forwarded it on to Tanker as well, and he was happy to see it as well. I do want to be sure you know you’re free to listen without having a homework assignment afterwards, but we are appreciative of hearing what people like and dont like, for sure. 😀

I’m usually my own worst critic, but on this one, I was very happy with it too. Tank and I are reaching a better place with the “baton passing” so to speak, and we’re definitely developing a better rapport. It was also free of some of the miscues of the last ep.

I imagine we’re going to keep getting better along those lines as we go. Phil tweeted to me earlier he cant wait til we start bickering, LOL. So there’s a lot to look forward to!

I dont think of anything going in. We basically outline the conversation at a very high level, and we’re lucky if we get that all across. Specific lines or quotes? Not so much… What I have noticed though is that it’s difficult to avoid referencing things that made it into my reviews or comments on the comments. If you’ve already thought of something, or made a good point, it’s tough NOT to bring it up again. Case in point? In the descendants review I said Payne “plays the heartstrings like a virtuoso”. So its not exactly verbatim, but… it was a metaphor I’d made before, and it bubbled up again when talking it out. It’s hard NOT to.

The War Horse/Daniel Radcliffe stuff cracked me up. Wasn’t prepared for that!

But New Year’s Eve? Debbbbbbie… cmon. Do your hubbie and yourself a favor and seek out The Descendants or something. Gawd… New Years Eve just looks so… vapid.

      Anyways, thanks again!

      • I don’t think of it as homework. I go through periods of time where I have a lot of down time. I have a feast or famine type of job…. The blogs and podcasts have been a blessing actually. (saving my sanity)

Maybe I will re-think New Year’s Eve. But he will take me to a chickie-type movie kind of the putting up with the football season trade off. Funny, love love love all those football movies……..but I absolutely hate the actual sport!

  2. Debbie is right on with the relaxed fluidity, it is a testament to how quickly you have adapted to the new media. As I have already mentioned to you that I really enjoyed listening, I just wanted to officially tell you to keep up the good work!

By the way, I love your theme music…haha
