      • It was awesome. I did laugh! Glad you left it. I do the same thing when i sit back and watch the episodes of my show over and over. haha. Such a great podcast man. I gotta go to work here in 30mins and I have 45 mins left of listening! (will have to continue after work in 9 hours).

Keep up the great work with these podcasts man. Love em!

      • As Gelfman points out, theme music in James Bond mix is outstanding.
Twice as nice as it was superimposed on top of original theme melody.

Podcast(s) were fantastic, apropos, and well edited with sound clips from various Bond films. I concur with both of you when Tank mentions ranking films only in the context of enjoying all Bonds just some more than others; rock solid shows Tank and Fogs. Let the final countdown commence! πŸ™‚

      • NICE!

Glad you enjoyed. Makes me happy to hear all the positive feedback. Wish I could take more credit for the theme mix, but I just siggested it and Mike did the rest. He’s awesome.

Happy you enjoyed all the clips, I could have put in dozens more, there’s so many to choose from! πŸ˜€

  1. I will say I loved the intro, My Tee Hee to His Kananga, My Wint to His Kidd. Too funny. I actually have the toy briefcase, the plastic knife and silencer are missing but the rest of the gun is intact, I also still have the passport book and decoder tool that came with it. You can set it with caps so that if it is opened with the wrong combination it explodes (ok it just pops. ). Still have about 20 minutes to hear but I’ll have to come back. (Connery is bored in YOLT, Right observation)

    • Yeah, glad I wasnt the only one who picked up on that. I’m used to it now, but if you watch them back to back, the change between Thunderball and YOLT is totally perceptible. You can just tell he’s… disinterested. Doesnt help the script has issues, but still. πŸ˜€

Thanks for checking it out Richard!!

  2. I didn’t realize the 2nd part was out until yesterday.

I love Man with the Golden Gun and Diamonds are Forever, but that’s probably just my thing.

I have to agree with you on T. Dalton. I liked him from the start. I really liked LIving Daylights. Most of the namesake short story is captured, and I think that is part of my love. In the books, I never got the Bond as a likable guy vibe he has in the movies and I think Dalton had a bit of that. I also really love the opening sequence for that film.

My favorite (I haven’t seen Skyfall yet) is Goldfinger. Fav bad guy, henchman, car, and Bond. It has it all.

    • Goldfinger is one of the greats, Its one of my favorites, and Tanskis, too. Skyfall may just blow your mind though. πŸ˜€ Its a possibility.

As to Man with the Golden Gun and Diamonds are Forever, Nerd, I like ’em. I like all the Bond movies. But… if you’re going to be objective (something us critic types are forced into) you’re left with no choice but to shred them. There are SO many issues in them. Makes ’em rough.

And Dalton’s the man!!! πŸ˜€ Glad to hear you’re on board with the great Dalton internet re-evaluation. I swear, no one benefitted from the internet like Dalton did! πŸ˜€
