  1. Just listened to your podcast for the first time and it was very entertaining! Will definitely return for the next one. One thing I learned is how to pronounce your name. I thought it was Fog as in like the mist LOL. Anyway great stuff!

    • Yeahhhh… a lot of people thing that. Dont feel bad. Can’t tell you how many blog rolls I’ve seen with the apostrophe in the wrong place (Fog’s instead of Fogs’). It’s short for Fogarty 😉

Glad you gave it a shot, Issy, we have a lot of fun doing it, and I appreciate the positive feedback! 😀

  2. Hi, Fogs and Tank:

    Very “Firesign Theater” intro.

    “220.. 221. Whatever it takes.”

Tina Fey has always been a One Trick Pony. And always will be.

Why do the “Spring Breaker” chicks have Hooker names?

The White House grounds have mobile SAM batteries. So does Andrews AFB. Either or both would have blown the C-130 gunship out of the sky before it got within its Bofors cannon range.

The original 1973 ‘Wicker Man’ with Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee rocks out loud for its understated on location creepiness. Should never have been messed with in the first place!

It’s the Big Wheel and creepy twin girls scene in ‘The Shining’, Fogs.

    • What about the Big Wheel and the Shining twins, did I say something? Or is that just your argument for why it’s an awesome movie, Jack?

As for the “Firesign Theatre” yeah, we’ve been having our little radio goofs every week for awhile now. We have fun with them, glad to hear people enjoy!

And yeah, I hope our military response is better than that laughable junk in “Olympus” LOL What nonsense! 😀 And “Why do the “Spring Breaker” chicks have Hooker names?” Uh… 🙄 LOL

      • Hi, Fogs:

The scene with Danny on the Big Wheel riding over bare and carpeted floor. Then seeing the creepy twins always sends shivers up my spine. Kind of sets the tone for the rest of the film. Which only gets creepier from there.

Yes, the ‘Spring Breakers’ chicks’ name question is a little redundant. 😉

At least they weren’t Brittany or Tiffany, which are Strippers’ name.

  3. Great stuff as always. Also I’m with Tank; Night of the Living Dead is great, but Dawn of the Dead is something else entirely. The subject might also make a good great debate….

Great Valhalla inductions this month. Love all three films.

    Another great show.

    • 😀 I actually have had that one down for awhile now. It’s a good October Great Debate though – Halloween and whatnot. So I might not run it for awhile 😦

Thanks PG… appreciate that. The Valhalla’s been a fun idea. It got us some good feedback on Facebook, too. We’re still tinkering with it, but we’ll get it there!

      • It’s my favourite segment when it’s part of the show. I don’t know if Facebook is the only plus to suggest films for the Valhalla, but if I can do it here I recommend LAWRENCE OF ARABIA. I picked up that sucker on Blu Ray recently (the “freaking expensive edition”) and that is one of the most perfect films ever made.

      • Yeah, no doubt. It is great.

I think for now, we’re going to funnel the process through FB. This month I’ll give a shout out for suggestions (I’ll put LoA in there) and then run a poll. Its a good way to get the interaction up on the FB page I think. We’ll see.
