The-English-Patient

Almásy: What do you love?

Katharine: What do I love?

Almásy: Say everything.

Katharine: Hm, let’s see… Water. Fish in it. And hedgehogs; I love hedgehogs.

Almásy: And what else?

Katharine: Marmite – I’m addicted. And baths. But not with other people. Islands. Your handwriting. I could go on all day.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is an espionage thriller based on the 1974 novel by John le Carré. It focuses on the efforts of a “retired” intelligence officer to ferret out a mole at the very highest level of the British intelligence community.

The movie is thoughtfully paced, which is good… because it gives you a LOT to think about. It creates an atmosphere thick with intrigue and suspense, then lays out one of the most intricately detailed plots you could wish for.

Which they made a big deal of – but she looks better here than in any other role, so I think it’s just a function of Hollywood starlets being dumb and too thin to begin with anyways.

Oh, and Hugh Grant got busted with a hooker. 😀 THAT I know! LOL, Huuuuugh!

So let’s do this thing! “Chick Flick City”, here we come!!
