Ok folks, here we go. Part II of the 2012 Fall Movie Preview. Today we’ll break down all the major releases on tap for the month of October, and the first week of November!
As you might imagine, it’s a diverse bunch. There are some ahead that look intriguing, and some that might as well be announcing that they’re garbage already, LOL. Let’s have a look and see if we can’t sort out what’s what!!

I was nervous, too.
A month ago exactly, actually, I wrote a post where I kind of lost my shit because I heard that Cameron Crowe was toying with the possibility of doing a sequel to “Say Anything”.
Good news that I just read courtesy of Slash Film, who point out that IFC.com got him to set the record straight. Apparently he was just bullshitting with the person who had asked the question, and even though he had discussed it with John Cusack, it was a long time ago, and he has no intention of revisiting his classic characters for real.
This post began as a small “News Worth Sharing” post, but quickly got out of hand. Once I was done, I had to create a new category – Random Rants. I hope I don’t have to add to it often.
Surfing the net today I discovered an article on slashfilm.com that quotes Cameron Crowe as saying that there may possibly be a sequel to “Say Anything”. His comments, made during the annual Television Critics Association press tour, are quoted as follows:
“I do kind of think there might be another chapter to that. I’ve thought about it from time to time and talked to John Cuasack about it. Lloyd Dobler might be back. It’s the only thing I’ve ever written that I might consider doing that with.”
To which I say, “Oh my dear God, please %#$&ing no.”
