Summer is finally upon us! With this Friday’s release of “Iron Man 3”, the 2013 Summer Movie season officially begins!
The summer season is defined by big budget, high-profile releases, and this summer is no exception. We’ll cover what’s coming out in May and June today, and then look at July and August tomorrow.

Ok folks, here we go. Part II of the 2012 Fall Movie Preview. Today we’ll break down all the major releases on tap for the month of October, and the first week of November!
As you might imagine, it’s a diverse bunch. There are some ahead that look intriguing, and some that might as well be announcing that they’re garbage already, LOL. Let’s have a look and see if we can’t sort out what’s what!!
HBO’s new movie this weekend was last year’s “Something Borrowed”.
Starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Kate Hudson, Colin Egglesfield, and John Krasinki, “Something Borrowed” is a romantic comedy revolving around a woman (Goodwin) who lets her best friend (Hudson) from childhood always get her way, even including barging in on a college date she’s on. It turns out to be a fateful mistake, as the the stolen date eventually leads to an engagement.
But as the big day approaches, feelings that have been suppressed for years suddenly surface and the wedding is endangered.
Romantic comedy kind of tepidly ensues.
So. Three whales are trapped under the ice. A daddy whale, a momma whale, and a baby whale.
There’s so much ice they can’t see a way back out to the ocean and they just breathe out of this tiny hole they punched through, right? They’re like swimming in place and poking their head through the hole, taking a breath, swimming around… doing it again.
All of a sudden Drew Barrymore appears at the edge of the hole. She pokes her head over the edge and says, “Don’t worry, guys, don’t you worry. We’re going to do EVERYTHING WE CAN to get you out of there. I am not going to let people pretend that you’re not DYING here. I am going to tell everyone I can, and I will NOT stop. We are going to SAVE you.”
And the daddy whale looks at the momma whale and says, “Does that mean we’re going to have to listen to HER for a week?”
