Here we go, folks, back with another Top Ten for you! This time up, in light of this weekend’s “The Great Gatsby”, we’re taking a look at the filmography of Mr Leonardo DiCaprio!

Leo got his start in films at a young age, and in spite of taking a brief break from acting after “Titanic”, he’s had a pretty prolific career to this point! Further, his filmography is loaded with top-notch films, as he’s worked with some of the best directors there are: Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, James Cameron, Sam Raimi, Danny Boyle, Ridley Scott and Steven Spielberg!

The White Star Liner Titanic (46,382 tons) which left Southhampton on Wednesday on her maiden voyage to New York, came into collision with an iceberg at a point about 41.45 North and 30.14 West off the North American coast at 10.23 p.m. on Sunday night (American time). The vessel was badly damaged and wireless messages were sent out for help. A number of other liners in the neighborhood hastened to her assistance, she sank yesterday morning as will be seen from the following message received as we are going to press:-

NEW YORK, April 15, 9.45 p.m.

The following despatch has been received here from Cape Race:-

“The steamer Olympic reports that the steamer Carpathia reached the Titanic’s position at daybreak, but found boats and wreckage only. She reported that the Titanic foundered. About 2.20 a.m. in lat. 41 deg__16 min., long. 30 deg, 14 min.”

The message adds:-“All the Titanic’s boats are accounted for. About 673 souls have been saved of the crew and passengers. The latter are nearly all women and children. The Leyland liner California is remaining and searching the vicinity of the disaster. The Carpathia is returning to New York with the survivors!” Reuter.

New Episode of The (title pending) Movie Podcast with Tank and Fogs!!

What’s up everybody?? We’re back with another episode of The (title pending) Movie Podcast!!

This week we hit the box office roundup and see if anything can dethrone the Hunger Games, then head into our featured review of the week, “American Reunion”! In addition to our thoughts on the movie, we cover how we feel about previous installments, and discuss if there’s any possibility that they continue the series on beyond this.

Then, for our “Extra Feature” this week, in honor of its re-release in 3D, Tank and I discuss “Titanic” – our thoughts about the movie, the phenomenon, its place in history, and whether or not we feel it was worthy of its Academy Award.

Oh yeah. Let’s just say you’re gonna wanna hear this. 😀

The 2011 FMR MAJOR Awards: Nominees for most Disappointing Movie

To order our nominee announcement and awards presentation threads over the next couple of weeks here, I decided let’s let the “Worsts” go first, and Ladies before Gentlemen.

Thus I present to you the nominees in our first category for the inaugural FMR MAJOR Awards. The most disappointing movies of the year, all vying to be called “The Biggest Disappointment.”

In order to qualify for this category, the movie first has to have raised some degree of promise or expectation, and then have not lived up to it. “Don’t believe the hype!”
