Happy 2013, everybody, here’s our first new (title pending) of the year!

To celebrate, Tank and I roll through another enormous review extravaganza! With one week off for Christmas, and the massive slate of Holiday releases to contend with, Mr. Tanski and I bring you reviews of SEVEN new releases currently in theatre! Enough movies to last you an entire week!

It’s a cavalcade of film reviews for your listening pleasure and information, we give you the breakdown on everything that’s out there!

The Guilt Trip

“The Guilt Trip” is a comedy revolving primarily around one single source of humor: Barbara Streisand uncomfortably over-mothering Seth Rogen. She leaves too many voicemails, gets way too personal with her questions, overshares, won’t stop talking, etc etc…

If that sounds horrifying to you, stay away. The “Guilt Trip” has literally nothing else of value to offer. If that sounds tolerable to you, this slight comedy ultimately has a sweet tone and will give you a mild chuckle or two along the way.

The 2012 Holiday Movie Season Preview

Ok, folks, here we are! One of the major movie release seasons of the year is upon us, The Holiday Movie Season!

The Holidays started a little early this year, with “Skyfall” (undeniably a major release) opening in the first week of November. So we’re underway! Between now and the end of the year, we’ll see some of the biggest films on the 2012 docket get released, including the conclusion to the “Twilight” Saga, “The Hobbit”, and “Django Unchained”!
